Todd Stover is the Director of Perfusion Services for the CHI Nebraska Cardiovascular Service Line. In this role, he is responsible for cardiac surgery quality outcomes relating to Society of Thoracic Surgeons national benchmarks and latest evidence best practices. He is also a team leader and resource for perioperative and facility blood management programs and participates in day-to-day clinical activities of the open heart surgery team and works with team members, surgeons and anesthesia staff to improve outcomes and processes.
He began his health care career in 1986 as a radiologic technologist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center working in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology and the cardiac cath lab. Since then, he has served as a perfusionist assigned to Children’s Hospital and UNMC in Omaha and Director of Perfusion Services and Invasive Cardiology in Kearney.
Todd is originally from Fremont, Nebraska. He and his wife, Jill, have three children. Todd enjoys golf, shooting, hunting, Husker football, travelling and began a farming operation in 2012.
