Kent Reckewey, MD is the President of The Physician Network, a multi-specialty group located predominantly in Lincoln, but with significant presence in Grand Island and Kearney, Nebraska. In his role as President, he has oversight for more than 300 providers. Additionally, he administrates the Cardiovascular Service Line which includes the five hospital campuses and 41 outreach locations served by Nebraska Heart Institute.
Dr. Reckewey began his healthcare career in 1980 as a practicing Board Certified Emergency Physician and served as Medical Director of the Emergency Physician Network as well as EMS Director for the City of Lincoln, NE for 15 years.
From 1999 through 2010, he served part-time as the national physician leader for practice management services for CHI. He currently serves as one of six divisional representatives on the CHI Medical Group Leadership Council that provides
oversight of all employed physician practices.
