Dr. Fruehling received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency followed by his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Fruehling continued his training at the University and completed sub-specialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Fruehling is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He offers patients comprehensive cardiology care including preventative, diagnostic, medical and interventional therapies.
Dr. Fruehling sees patients at the NHI office in Grand Island as well as in-patients at CHI St. Francis in Grand Island and Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. He also sees patients at the NHI office in Hastings as well as several communities in central Nebraska.
Dr. Fruehling is a native of central Nebraska and is excited to be practicing in central Nebraska. He and his wife live in Grand Island with their children and enjoy the outdoors including hunting and fishing as well as supporting their children’s activities.
