Dr. Kosmicki received his Bachelor of Science with high distinction from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. He then received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Dr. Kosmicki completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Following his general cardiology fellowship, he completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular medicine at the University of Utah.
Dr. Kosmicki is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in its subspecialty boards of cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is also certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. His focus is interventional cardiology, general cardiology as well as structural heart disease.
Dr. Kosmicki was honored by the Nebraska Medical Foundation for Most Outstanding Research. He was named as Most Outstanding Zeta Psi Omicron Chapter Member, was on the Nebraska Wesleyan University Dean’s List of Academic Achievement and was a member of the Blue Key Honor Society.
Dr. Kosmicki is a native of central Nebraska. He and his wife live in Grand Island with their three children.
