Dr. Chander received his medical degree from the University of Birmingham School of Medicine, United Kingdom. Prior to receiving his medical degree, Dr. Chander completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Wales College of Medicine in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Chander served in a surgical residency in the United Kingdom prior to completing his Internal Medicine residency at the New York University Hospital in New York City. He then completed both his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Chander is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease as well as board-certified in Nuclear Cardiology and board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology. He specializes in diagnostic and clinical cardiology as well as interventional treatment.
Dr. Chander primarily sees patients at the NHI Clinic, located on the campus of the Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, Nebraska. He also sees patients and provides diagnostic and interventional cardiology services from the Nebraska Heart Hospital, located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
