Dave Vuchetich attended Wayne State College majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and English. Following his undergraduate work,he earned his Masters of Physician Assistant degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

His work experience includes specialty care in orthopedics and cardiovascular surgery. Prior to joining the Lincoln campus Nebraska Heart Institute in 1989, Dave worked in Baton Rouge, LA. At NHI, Dave is responsible for the surgical PA program in providing surgery support and post-operative care for patients. He and his wife, Christine, have five children. His interests include guitar, sports, and mechanical work.
