Dana Petersen received her Bachelors Degree in social work from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska in 1993. She then received her masters in Physician Assistance Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1999. She has practiced with the Nebraska Heart Institute since 2001 in cardiology, specializing in lipids and cholesterol management.
