Description: Responsible for coordinating and/or developing, implementing and evaluating educational programs for the Inpatient Nursing staff to maintain competence in their defined roles and provide opportunity for staff fulfillment of regulatory agency requirements.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master’s degree preferred. Current Nebraska RN licensure required. Experience in the area of in-service education, staff development, orientation and/or training preferred.
Position: 28308 - Inpatient Nursing Co-Team Leader

Description: Assist the CNO and Co-Team Leader in supervision of day to day operations for inpatient nursing department including interviewing and hiring prospective employees; staff management; scheduling; training; and performing corrective action according to NHH policy. Works closely with CNO, Co-Team Leader and Nursing Education Coordinator to identify education and training needs for new and existing employees; assists in writing and reviewing policies and procedures for inpatient nursing; and serves as an Inpatient Nursing liaison for various committees throughout the organization. Provides direct patient care ensuring patient satisfaction and high quality clinical outcomes.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, plus two to three years critical care experience required. Current RN licensure, BLS certification required. At least one year previous supervisory experience required.
Position: 24009 - Surgery Lead/Registered Nurse

Description: Responsible for direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction and high quality clinical outcomes. Assists Surgery Team Leader with day to day operations of the Surgery Department throughout Nebraska Heart including; staff management, physician interaction, recruitment, scheduling, cross-functional training and staff education. Gives input to department fiscal management and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations as they relate to the Surgery Department, including policy and procedure development and implementation.

Licensed Registered Nurse with three (3) years experience in the Operating Room required. One to two years leadership experience preferred. ACLS and BLS certification may be required after employment commences.
Position: 12009 - Chief Financial Officer

Description: The Chief Financial Officer will provide financial, strategic leadership to the practice in partnership with the Administrative Team and Physician owners.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing and directing all aspects of the finances of the practice including the development and administration of policies and procedures on finance, accounting, business office, medical records, insurance, internal controls, budgeting, auditing and payroll. Frequent interaction with Physician owners is required. Some travel required.

Bachelor's degree in finance or related field and CPA designation is required. Master's degree preferred. Five years of fiscal management experience required, three years in a health care organization is preferred.
Position: 12709 - Executive Administrative Assistant

Description: Provides administrative and clerical support to the Chief Officers of Nebraska Heart. Provides support to Team Leaders and other company representatives as requested. Greets clients and vendors; directs them to the appropriate area.

Candidates must possess strong knowledge of computer software including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook; strong organizational and communication skills; and the ability to prioritize and successfully multi-task. Minimum of an associates degree and 3 to 5 years related experience is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Must be able to work flexible hours for early and late meetings as required.
Position: 12809 - Patient A/R Specialist

Description: Responsible for working with patients to collect the amount of the account balance that is owed by the patient. Assists patients with questions about their accounts. Completes soft collections activities including contacting patients by telephone and by written correspondence. Recommends when accounts should be turned over to collections.

High school graduate or equivalent is required. One to two years collections experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
Position: 13009 - Certified Medical Coder

Description: Responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate CPT and ICD9 codes to all NHI patient visits. Enters charges into practice management software on a daily basis. Oversees the activities of the non-certified coders. Assists staff with billing and coding questions.

High school graduate or equivalent plus completion in a course in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, or medical coding is required. Candidates MUST have CPC or CCS-P to be considered for this position. Prior medical coding experience is preferred.
Position: 20309 - Utilization Management Team Leader

Description: Serves as the information coordinator and educator for the hospital wide Utilization Management Program. Reviews medical necessity for scheduled admissions, length of stay, and promptness of service. Retro-active reviews appropriateness of continued stays, implementation of effective discharge planning, and assuring Nebraska Heart Hospital’s scope of service meets the hospital's objectives for assuring a high quality of patient care as well as assuring the effective and efficient utilization of available health services. Works collaboratively with Clinical, Quality, Compliance, Financial Services and UM & Admissions Team Leader to assure that information is being channeled to the appropriate committees/teams.

Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or allied health field is required; RN licensure is preferred. One to two years experience in utilization management or related field is required.
