Description: Responsible for assisting with the operative procedures and patient care in the Operating Room under the direct supervision of a physician or registered nurse.

Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technology and current national certification for surgical technology are required. One year of experience preferred. Previous open heart surgical experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certification required.
Position: 10408 - Health Information Management (HIM) Team Leader

Description: Supervises the day to day functions of the HIM department and staff including interviewing, hiring, firing, training, scheduling and evaluating. Oversees the dictation, transcription, and electronic signature systems; monitoring day to day operations, setting up and orienting new users, and providing statistics as needed. Will be intimately involved in the planning and implementation of an electronic medical record (EMR).

Three to five years experience in health information management is required. RHIT required, RHIA preferred. Minimum two years supervisory experience required.

Description: Performs tasks appropriate to the collection, handling, and receiving of laboratory specimens. Also performs numerous clerical services, such as answering the telephone, faxing, and maintaining laboratory records. Waived testing and moderately complex point-of-care testing may be required. Other tasks commiserate with training may be added.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Phlebotomy training; formal or on-site, is also required. One year experience is preferred. Certification is also preferred.

Hours are 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 3 days per week (Mon-Fri) and every other Saturday.

Description: Assist the Nursing Team Leader in supervision of day to day operations for inpatient nursing department including interviewing and hiring prospective employees; staff management; scheduling; training; and performing disciplinary action according to NHH policy. Works closely with Nursing Team Leader and Clinical Educator to identify education and training needs for new and existing employees; assists in writing and reviewing policies and procedures for inpatient nursing; and serves as the Inpatient Nursing liaison for various committees throughout the organization. Provides direct patient care ensuring patient satisfaction and high quality clinical outcomes.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, plus two to three years critical care experience required. Current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification required. At least one year previous supervisory experience required.
Position: 15008 - Health Information Management (HIM) - Inventory Specialist

Description: This position is responsible for all aspects of maintaining patient charts including pulling and filing to and from on site storage; answers and places phone calls; and delivers charts as needed. Uses computer to do tracking and inventory of patient charts from any NHI location. Uses fax machine to fax requested information.

High School graduate or equivalent required. Prior experience in storage or inventory desired. Must have strong customer service skills and be highly detailed.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds; climb a ladder and/or mobile staircase while carrying boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.

High school graduate or equivalent is required. Prior experience in a health care environment is desired. Graduate of medical secretary program preferred.
