Oversees the dictation, transcription, and electronic signature systems; monitoring day to day operations, setting up and orienting new users, and providing statistics as needed. Will be intimately involved in the planning and implementation of an electronic medical record (EMR). Three to five years experience in health information management is required. RHIT required, RHIA preferred. Minimum two years supervisory experience required.

Also performs numerous clerical services, such as answering the telephone, faxing, and maintaining laboratory records. Waived testing and moderately complex point-of-care testing may be required. Other tasks commiserate with training may be added. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Phlebotomy training; formal or on-site, is also required. One year experience is preferred. Certification is also preferred. Hours are 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 3 days per week (Mon-Fri) and every other Saturday.

Provides direct patient care ensuring patient satisfaction and high quality clinical outcomes. Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, plus two to three years critical care experience required. Current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification required. At least one year previous supervisory experience required.

Prior experience in storage or inventory desired. Must have strong customer service skills and be highly detailed. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds; climb a ladder and/or mobile staircase while carrying boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
