 Mark Smith, CFOMark Smith serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Nebraska Heart Hospital. In this position, Mark is responsible for the finance and support functions for Nebraska Heart Hospital, including accounting, patient financial services, health information management, materials management, and nutrition services. Mark obtained his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Union College, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Nebraska. As both a CPA and attorney, he appreciates the perspective that both these disciplines bring to the problem solving process. Before his tenure with Nebraska Heart Hospital, Mark was in private practice as a CPA with the firm of Buck, Smith, and Reinke in Lincoln, Nebraska, and also practiced business law for with the firm of Orton, Brown, Thomas and Peterson. Mark grew up in Kansas, Washington, Nebraska, Texas and Colorado. He lives in Lincoln with his wife Jacque. |
